The images show a white Pelican but I will am making a brown pelican from bronze.
It will have a stainless steel interior frame with bronze beak feet and feathers. Finished with a brown patina. It will be mounted on a wood post with rope trim around the top. The sculpture will have a threaded rod coming from the bottom of the bird ( it will not show) an run down to the bottom of the wood post and welded to a steel plate so the piece can be easily welded into place on the sculpture walk.

Description of Artwork
My styles vary from traditional cast bronze to hand formed sculptured pieces. I have a signature style called the Line Sculpture. This style capture's the integral outlines and shapes of the subject along with capturing muscle, action and life. Another style is to create a line sculptured frame of the subject and then cover that frame with hand cut metal feathers for birds or thin rods welded and shaped one by one to reflect the image of hair.
With any style I use I always like to bring life.
