Wetlands Diptych
Wetlands Diptych depicts the life of a wetland; plant and animal. It grew from my interest in forging herons, using found objects, in this case pitchforks and chain. Cattails are also a favorite motif for me. By making this sculpture as a diptych, it can be displayed in various configurations, giving the owner a say in it's design

Description of Artwork
In Heron Pond and Lake in the Desert Diptych I use found, recycled objects to depict the aquatic botanical environment of herons, a turtle, lizard, fish and frog. I use angle iron, horseshoer's rasps, pitchforks, rakes, chain and bolts to depict these animals and plants in the wetlands.
