My sculptures are cast in high-quality art bronze. I create the sculpture, first, in modeling clay worked over a pipe and wire and sometimes foam armature, then a mold is done in rubber backed with plaster to hold the shape. This follows with painting wax in each of the mold sections on the latex, coating and casting the waxes by the lost wax method of casting. Then a skilled foundryman welds each of the sections together, grinds and polishes the sculpture and then a chemical patina is applied.
